August 2026: 2 Months into Eulogy for the Stripes

First, I want to thank everyone who has supported Eulogy for the Stripes since its release. Whether you have left a review, reached out to share your thoughts, talked about the novel, shared it on social media, read it, are still making your way through it, or subscribed to follow along with my journey, I genuinely appreciate it.

It has now been two months since Eulogy for the Stripes was released on June 25, 2026, and those two months have gone by in a blink.

Since then, I have held book signings, attended an Author Fest at a local community college, participated in a community event with Blue Bolt Spirits supporting the Whiskey Valor Foundation, hosted a workshop for book clubs, readers, and writers, joined the ThrillerPod Book Club and participated in one of its meetings, and made my first podcast appearance on No Limits: The Thriller Podcast.

I am also continuing to work on additional book signings, events, and opportunities to introduce Eulogy for the Stripes to new readers.

If you have not had a chance to watch my first podcast appearance, you can find it here:

As I look ahead, I also have an important publishing update.

Eulogy for the Stripes was originally published through Defiance Press & Publishing. Following Defiance’s wind-down of publishing operations, rights have been reverted to me.

I am now working to either secure a new publisher or independently reprint the novel. As a result, there may be a transition period during which new copies of Eulogy for the Stripes are temporarily unavailable through the book’s normal sales channels. I will do everything I reasonably can to make that transition as short as possible.

For those who already own a copy from the original Defiance Press printing, it will now represent a distinct first chapter in the history of Eulogy for the Stripes.

The publishing transition does not mean the story is slowing down.

I am also working on securing the right person to narrate an audiobook edition, and work on Book 2 is already underway.

The next novel will pick up where Eulogy for the Stripes leaves off. New characters, new villains, new ground to explore, difficult choices, hardship, consequences, and plenty of thrills await. There’s still much more of this story to tell.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported me through the release, the transition, and this unexpected adventure of becoming a published author. It means a great deal to know that people I have known for years, along with people I have never met, have chosen to spend their time reading and supporting something I created.

I wanted to close this update by sharing a few excerpts from readers who have shared their thoughts about Eulogy for the Stripes:

“Intertwining multiple story lines that intersect in a way that keeps the reader intrigued. The questions he poses through fiction are questions which most Americans have asked themselves as of late—what is the future of our nation and do we have one?”

“Follows a slippery slope of where we are today and what may soon come. This is a fast paced novel that will make the reader think.”

“The novel explores what a dystopian America could look like if it takes the direction of a surveillance state. The concept reminded me of 1984 and Black Mirror!”

“A thought-provoking warning of a not so far off reality of America’s future if it were to go into a more big-brother, surveillance state where money is all in control online.”

Two months in, I am grateful for where Eulogy for the Stripes has already taken me.

And this is only the beginning.
